Five sleeps ago--dat's a long time! But dat's when I finished my second course in Puppy Skool!
Dis me wif daddy and mommy and my You Did It paper!
Dis me and daddy wif Grace de teacher!
Dis me in my Smartypants hat, and daddy's feets!
I had two classmates, Craig and Kona. We learned to Stay and Wait and Walk and Heel and Go to Bed. We did all dat even wif doors opening and closing and fings going BANG! and balls bouncing around and evfurryfing. Here's de secret: In skool you get lots of treats fur doing stuff like dat. At home you might get a treat or two, but sometimes mommy expects you to do somefing just because she says. Pfooey!
De next day I got to go to Pet Camp! I stayed dere fur four sleeps. I played wif lots of doggies AND I learned how to bark more! I showed off fur daddy today on our Evening Stroll. Daddy dint like it, and den he told mommy on me. She told me today was a day off, and tomorrow we'll get Back to Bizness. I'm not sure I like de sound of dat...
You are soon to be the Smartest Dog in Da Whole Wide World we think, even if you are barking when you should not be barking! After all, you are a "dog" and allowed to bark (at least that's what meowing June says!)
ReplyDeleteAnd when June says something, it's usually right.
June and me sees eye-to-eye! But, mommy controls de treats. What's a doggy to do??!
DeleteCongrats on graduating from doggy school. Maybe since you came back from sleep away camp all barky your pawrents won't send you there any more and the will always be with you.
ReplyDeleteDat's bezackly what my mommy said! I do like camp, though...
DeleteCongratulations pup! Oh, and Chester says, what's wrong with barking????
ReplyDeleteChester, do you get to bark a lot? Mommy says it would be differnt if we lived in de country. 🤔
DeleteI bet you were the teacher's pet (not literally)
ReplyDeleteWell, not to brag or anyfing, but de teacher would always say, "I'm going to demonstrate this with Toffee." She had lots of treats. Why wouldn't I do whatevfur she said?
DeleteYou and Benji could have a barking contest...and Dalton would help, too! Us two are great barkers, much to *her* annoyance for some reason! We just have to rid the area of intruders and stuff that dares to walk/ride on the street in front of the fence...if we can see it it has to be barked away...and you know what?? It works every time! BOL!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you, Toffee for getting that very impawrtant paper!
I wish my mommy understood about barking. I'm only trying to save our lives!
